New York Mag - With athletic jerseys layering exposed brick walls and eleven TVs faithfully broadcasting every conceivable athletic event, Coppersmith's is a sports bar through and through. Better yet, this armchair-referee hangout brings some class to the usual formula of burgers, wings and daily drink specials through the addition of a respectable wine list. Tall mahogany tables line the walls—everything, spic-and-span clean, despite the packed crowd. For Yankees, Knicks and Jets fans the cheerleading gets an unexpected rhythmic boost on Thursday nights when a live DJ comes aboard. During warmer weather, the three large French doors up front swing open and provide cig-craving patrons a way to puff with their pints, as the cool (now smoky) breeze wafts into the bar. —Jocelyn Voo

Shecky’s - This four-year-old Hell’s Kitchen sports bar with 10 TVs is a no-brainer for young professionals and neighborhood regulars alike. Full of New York City pride, tasteful memorabilia adorns the walls of this super-clean spot. The friendly, accommodating staff is ready to serve you with a variety of drink and food specials alike…Overall, Coppersmith’s is an automatic, easy pick for those looking for a bar’s bar.

NYC Pulse - A "Bar's Bar", this pubby after work sports bar is rumored to have the best buffalo wings outside of Buffalo. With daily food/drink specials including 2 for 1 burgers, and everyday happy hours, this down to earth spot is a popular mix of hip Hell's Kitchener’s, Midtown after work crowds and sports fans. Known for the friendly and helpful bartenders in an area full of surly sal's and sally's, quality bar food, and the varied crowd, there's something for everyone and anyone at Coppersmith's.

Citysearch - 'West Side Party' Posted by jorou - ”The best in Midtown West... where else can you find friendly locals, happy hour hold-overs, and the softball teams partying to a live DJ til 1AM? Thursdays rule the week, but locals know to check out the all-you-can-drink Sunday brunch during football season. Good times don't get much better for beer, sports and burgers."

AOL Digital Cities - Hell's Kitchen isn't the most welcoming name for a NY neighborhood, but Coppersmith's will make you feel at home in midtown west. With it's French windows open in the nice weather, high, tin ceilings and friendly staff, it's a great after work venue in which to congregate with friends for food and fun. They offer some daily specials like two-fer Tuesdays (two burgers for the price of one) and Monday Madness (three wings for a buck), and the prices are reasonable. The menu has typical bar fare, but it's all hearty and makes for a nice base when you're planning a long night of drinking.
